What the symptom usually means
Bearings or a failing motor. Turn it off and call; running it can take the wet end with it.
Suction-side air leak, cracked lid O-ring, a bad valve or a clogged impeller.
Torn cartridge or DE grid, or a failing multiport valve.
Low flow. Usually a clogged filter, a weak pump or a closed valve.
Ignition, gas pressure, pressure switch or flow issue.
Scale on the cell, a worn cell or a control board. We test the cell before replacing it.
Motor windings or a capacitor. Do not keep resetting it.
Bulb, gasket leak or the niche. LED conversions are a common fix here.

Common questions
Do you charge to come look?
Diagnosis is part of the visit. If you are a weekly customer, most problems are spotted during service and quoted the same day. For one-time repair calls we quote after inspecting the equipment.
Repair or replace my pump?
Rule of thumb: if the pump is under five years old and the fix is a seal, capacitor or impeller, repair it. If the motor has failed on an older single-speed pump, replacing it with a variable-speed pump usually pays for itself in electricity.
Do you install new equipment?
Yes. Pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, automation, lights and cleaners. We handle the plumbing and electrical hookup at the pad and program automation and timers before we leave.
Which brands do you work on?
All the common residential brands. We will tell you when a part is discontinued and what the replacement path is.
My heater will not fire. Is that a repair call?
Usually. Heaters fail on ignition, pressure switches, sensors and boards long before the exchanger goes. Bring the error code from the display if it shows one when you call.
Do you do warranty work?
We install per manufacturer specs and register new equipment so the factory warranty applies. Warranty claims on equipment we did not install depend on the manufacturer.
